DO U LIE? Is an AI-Generated mini music video. I was inspired by this amazing Midjourney artist Lucsantiago, who makes these ethereal images that mimic tintype photos of yore. I would tag them here on Insta, but I can’t find anyone posting anything similar. Anyway, this work compelled me to ask how I could combine the past with the future, so I mashed up several of my previous images with the following prompt: “Two lovers, one an alien and the other a robot sitting on a park bench in a public garden in Charlesville, France, in the style of Nadar, wet plate, black and white.” I then upped the ante by applying an old-timey film treatment in After Effects.
